Paint Parties at 2 Tees in a Pod:

*Please note that this information regards scheduling Paint Parties with me at 2 Tees in a Pod. If you want to schedule a Paint Party with me at a different location/facility, the guidelines are different.
Private Parties are scheduled with me directly, either via email (ChrisDavisPainting@gmail.com) or Facebook Messenger through my personal page. Event pages can be created on Facebook by the Party Leader to invite and update guests. However, all communication regarding the class with me must be made with me directly via Facebook Messenger or email ONLY. I cannot always keep up with comments on Facebook or in Facebook Events.
Classes generally range from 1.5 hrs - 3 hrs from start to finish, depending on the lesson and how many participants are present.
The current minimum number of participants to hold a Private Paint Party is 5. Please notify me of how many participants will be attending at least a day in advance so that tables, chairs, and class supplies can be set up ahead of time.
It is the responsibility of the host/participants to invite participants to the class. I do not advertise or promote private parties, nor do I invite people to private parties.
All supplies to do the painting are provided, including brushes, acrylic paints, canvas, etc.
Please note that I only use ACRYLIC paints for paint parties, I do NOT use watercolors, oils, tempera, gouache, etc. Occasionally, depending on the lesson, we may use additional materials such as pencils, chalk, permanent markers, etc. in addition to the acrylic paint.
Be aware that painting can be messy. It is recommended to wear something you don’t mind getting paint on. Participants may bring their own paint shirts, aprons, covers, etc. if they’d like.
Participants are welcome to bring food, snacks, beverages, alcoholic beverages, etc. Participants must provide their own plates, glasses, utensils, etc.
Lesson:
The party leader is to notify me of which lesson the group would like to do at least 3 days prior to the class, to ensure the proper supplies and materials are ready.
Only one lesson can be taught per group. However, many lessons allow for custom colors to be used and minor changes to be made. I.e. number and placement of trees, birds, etc.
Lessons can be chosen from any of my past or upcoming lessons. These can include Kids Classes or Sip and Paint Classes and can be interchangeable. For example, an adult party may choose to do a lesson originally designed as a kids class, and vice versa. To view my lessons, click this link.
Images found online can also be sent to me to create a custom lesson if sent at least a week in advance. If I create a custom lesson for your group, I reserve the right to use that lesson made for future public, private, and fundraiser classes.
Adults and Children of age 5+ may participate in Private Paint Parties as long as it’s okay with the individual hosting the party.
Price:
$35 per person using 11x14 Stretched Canvas.
$25 per person using 8x10 Stretched Canvas.
Payment
Payments may be made the day of class or prior to class by contacting 2 Tees in a Pod. Cash, Card, and checks made out to 2 Tees in a Pod are accepted. Please DO NOT write checks to 'Chris Davis' or Venmo me directly for classes at 2 Tees in a Pod as all monetary transactions must go through 2 Tees in a Pod for classes at 2 Tees in a Pod. 2 Tees in a Pod pays me my percentage after the class so I do not handle accepting payments for classes at 2 Tees in a Pod.

Late Policy
If your group is running late to the scheduled paint party, someone from the group must contact me via Facebook Messenger or email to update me. If no one from the party arrives within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, I will attempt to contact the party leader via the original means of communication. If I do not have a response by 20 minutes after the scheduled start time, I will begin packing the supplies away and I will leave the venue after 30 minutes of the scheduled start time. Once I leave for the day, I will not return to conduct the class. I reserve the right to refuse rescheduling paint parties in the future if I’m not given proper prior notice of a group running late.
If a participant is running late, we may be able to wait up to 10-15 minutes after the scheduled start time for them depending on the specific lesson. If a participant is running later than 15 minutes but is certainly on their way, I can start their painting for them so that they do not have to catch up, if they wish. I will NOT stay after a class is completed and everyone else is finished for a participant who arrived late to catch up and complete their painting. However, they may stay and work on their painting while I clean up but once I am finished cleaning, everyone must leave. This is out of fairness to myself, other paint groups that may be scheduled back to back, and to the business allowing us to use their space.
Cancellations/Rescheduling:
If the paint party must be canceled or rescheduled, please notify me immediately via Facebook Messenger or email at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the class. I reserve the right to refuse rescheduling a group if notice is given less than 1 hour in advance of the scheduled start time.
*Please understand that I am not an employee of 2 Tees in a Pod and I only arrive to conduct my scheduled classes. I do not receive a salary for my time there, my pay is a commission percentage per participant who takes my classes (reason for minimum of 5 participants requirement). I always arrive at least 30 minutes in advance to set up for class and a representative from 2 Tees in a Pod arrives after their regular hours in order for us to have class so please be courteous of our time and communicate with me as soon as possible if a group is running late, needs to cancel, or wants to reschedule.
