Artwork Sales
If you would like to purchase available artwork that is posted on this website, please contact me via Facebook, Instagram, or Email.
*I am willing to negotiate prices of artwork that is already completed and posted for sale. All negotiation must be made PRIOR to meeting up for the artwork.
Commissions & Custom Artwork
I am open to commission requests and creating custom artwork. However, please understand that I am not a commission based artist and I only accept commissions occasionally as I commit the majority of my time towards my job, classes, and creating new work for exhibits. If I accept a commission, be understanding that it may take several months before completion. Deadlines and time frames will be noted when discussing commission.
Commissions will be considered on a case by case basis, I reserve the right to reject any commission requests.
If I am given a request to have a commission finished in under a week or two, it will most likely be denied. However, if I do accept a commission request with a short time frame of under 1-2 weeks, there will be an upcharge. Upcharge will be discussed during initial commission conversation.
Prices will be quoted on a case by case basis. I am not willing to negotiate set prices on commissioned artwork, but I am willing to discuss different options to fit a budget. Once a direct quote is given and confirmed, I will not increase the price of that quote UNLESS customer requests changes/additions after the the price is set.
A commission cannot be cancelled once started. Please do not commission me unless you will have full payment.
I may request a 20%-50% down payment depending on the piece requested and price negotiated.
I DO NOT do pencil sketches or charcoal drawings. I work primarily with Acrylic Paints and other mixed medias.
I DO NOT do tattoo designs, Logo designs, Murals, or automotive decaling.
I DO NOT do any type of digital artwork, Photoshop/Photo Editing, or computer generated imagery.
I WILL NOT do any free commissions, under any circumstances. However, I may consider donating artwork or prints for fundraisers/charities if proof of donation is given.
I am no longer considering doing personal human portraits (customer's family members, etc.).
A custom painting is only as good as the reference photos that are provided. For example, if the images given to me are blurry, I cannot make a detailed painting.

Additional Comments:
I reserve the right to use photos of the commissioned artwork for social media posts, promotional posts, advertising my artwork, etc. However, images will not be posted until customer wishes and once the painting is in the customer’s possession (i.e. if customer commissioned a painting to be given as a gift or surprise, I will not post any photos until customer gives the okay to do so)
I never tag customers on social media posts. However, customers may tag themselves in my photos of the artwork they commissioned me to do.
I will never post a photo of a commissioned artwork to social media before showing the customer.
Customers may post photos of the artwork online and to social media if they wish.
Artwork may be displayed anywhere the customer or owner of the painting wishes (home, office, workplace, etc.)
It is very highly recommended that my artwork is NOT displayed outdoors. Canvas is a fabric material and may be destroyed in wet weather conditions. The paint I use is not outdoor grade paint and may warp, chip, or peel if exposed to wet conditions.
Chris Davis Artwork is NEVER to be entered into any gallery, exhibit, contest, etc. under any circumstance without written permission from me. If a customer wishes to enter my artwork into any type of art gallery, kindly contact me first. Submitting my artwork to a gallery, exhibit, contest, etc. without my permission WILL result in legal action.
(i.e. entering an artist’s artwork into an art contest in hopes of “winning” prizes without permission or knowledge of the artist is illegal and will result in contest disqualification as well as possible lawsuits)
There are no warranties, refunds, etc. if the customer damages artwork after it leaves my possession. If the customer accidentally damages artwork, kindly message me and we can possibly work something out depending on the severity of damage.
Please note that some requested surfaces may be fragile (i.e glass, slate, tile, etc.) and must be handled carefully. If customer cracks, chips, or breaks the painting, there will NOT be a refund or exchange. If requesting a surface other than canvas be painted, do so at your own risk.
There are no returns on sold artwork.
Customer may request minor changes on artwork up to 7 days after receiving it in person. Customer is responsible for returning artwork to me. If customer wants any changes, additions, adjustments, etc. after the 7 day period, there may be a fee and will be discussed at that time. If customer requests any changes or adjustments at any point, even within the 7 day time frame, there is not a guarantee that I can get to it immediately and may be on hold for up to a few weeks or more depending on severity of adjustment.
